Hi! And welcome to Meld Business Services. I am extremely excited to be writing this inaugural blog post – it has been a dream of mine for a very long time.
I recently read Daniel Flynn’s book Chapter One (Founder of Thank You) and whilst it was a thoroughly great read, I didn’t feel like it really motivated me. What it did give me however, was clarity. Daniel writes that once you find your ‘why’ in life, it’s easy to keep going until your dream is a success. His ‘why’ was helping bring clean water to families in third world countries. My ‘why’ is empowering others to succeed.
Looking back, my life has been dotted with examples of this. From helping my dad pass his degree by deciphering his hand writing and typing his assignments, delivering training sessions in my corporate past, empowering employees to be the best they can be and even teaching Ethics at my children’s school. All of these things bring me joy. It’s only now that I have realised that this is my ’why’. Now I am embarking on continuing this legacy through launching Meld Business Services.
